You’ve hit the blog of Tobias Weisserth. I’m based in Hamburg and enjoy working on a variety of photographic topics with a variety of means. Photography does not dominate my day job and whether I can pay the rent or not. For now, photography remains a luxury in my life I enjoy like the addict enjoys the drug. For living, I used to be in the Enterprise Content Management Systems business which I gave up for the Content Delivery Network & Solutions business which is equally challenging and rewarding to say the least. I enjoy the technical component of my day job as much as the travel that goes along with it.

With that background in mind, you’ll find it easy to understand, that this site has a variety of topics on its agenda, mostly around photography (the art), photography (the gear) and web technology from various angles.

Speaking of gear, I am known to be an avid Olympus Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds user. I also love working with old Minolta equipment, including the XD7, X700 and other beauties. Head over to www.rokkorfiles.com to get infected by the Rokkor virus as well.

Select work can be found on my photoblog, although I am very active on Flickr as well.

My work is not yet widely popular, however I have had some critical acclaim, for example in CBRE’s Urban Photographer of the Year competition, where I won second prize for the 2010 competition.
